This is an Earth Day holiday card that educates people about how to take better care of the Earth, as well as reminds them to also take care of themselves. This assignment was a submission for the final project in my Graphic Output Communication class that put into practice the skills we learned in Fiery Impose, Adobe InDesign, and the press lab equipment that include printing, scoring and cutting machines throughout this class. As well as, utilizing our graphic design skills in making the card graphics. The production of these cards began with choosing the paper from a paper mill, and hand picking the kind of paper to be used, keeping in mind our desired weight and coating.
